Crisis Hopkins Monthly Off-Night Spectacular ($10)
Join improv favorites Crisis Hopkins and special guests Revolving Madness
for a farewell performance in SF as they laugh the night away.
And last but not least:
Thursday,
May 29- Saturday, June 14 8PM & 10:30PM (Fri/Sat only)
THE GROUP by Robert Quillen Camp performed by Ryan Eggensperger ($15)
w/ Dodeska Performance Ensemble http://www.dodeska.com
There are only 15 seats per show and it's performed while you listen on
headset. Quill is only here for a few months before he moves back to NY
so this is a rare opportunity to see this piece. Highly choreographed
physical theater, a tight sound scape, and the power of positive thinking
(or is it?). I've been looking forward to this one for a while now. Catch
it while you can! Tickets available in advance on our website www.climatetheater.com
THE GROUP is an Enacted Self-Empowerment Workshop that combines a charismatic
leader with an immersive audio experience. Inspired by the largely American
tradition of packaging and selling self-improvement, (from EST and the
Landmark Forum to Norman Vincent Peale and The Secret), The Group takes
its audience on a savagely wry headphones-guided "soul journey"
and illustrates the negative potential of positive thinking.
Show and Tell will be back, as will the Night Vision
film series.
Fat Chance Belly Dance will be performing their latest
show- Devotion from June 13 - 22. More info at www.fcbd.com.

HARMONY FESTIVAL ’08 SUPPORTS…
In support of Damian “Jr Gong” Marley’s appearance at
Harmony Festival ’08, we will be donating $20,000 to the non-profit
organization, The World Family.
All funds raised will be going towards the development of the The Yemegnushal
Community Center in Gara Dima, Ethiopia that is being built to implement
community based orphan support programs. The center’s services include
health care, well water, solar energy, educational workshops, health education,
vocational training and job opportunities and more. The center will be
built in a green and sustainable method with emphasis on self-efficiency
for the community. This program is truly unique in that it gives the community
and orphans of Gara Dima numerous opportunities to be self-sufficient
in a place which lacks resources or hope. The World Family - Ethiopian
Orphans and Medical Care mission is 1) to improve the quality of health
care in Ethiopia and reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS and other preventable
diseases by, and 2) to support comprehensive care for orphans and their
communities through self-sufficient and sustainable programs. Visit www.theworldfamily.org/
