So, I tend to go lo-key on my birthday. (You may one day feel the same when you rack up several more.) Anyway, this SF event coming up next Friday is my kind of thing; public art, galleries, parades, dancing, and shared celebration.
As I'd really like to do this, I thought I'd INVITE you to do it too. The thing starts at 5pm @ Market and Taylor, with some civic speechification, then Gamelan X leads a parade down Market Street to UN Plaza (@ Hyde) where the Space Cowboys & the Unimog will be set up. Along the way there are 6 storefront installations.
After 8, we'll find someplace to eat, and that'll be the story. Join me if you can, bring the kids, be a kid. And thanks for all the good times. I wouldn't have done it w/ o you. XOX. ~ m - 415-608-8455 (c)
