Nine city blocks filled with art and performances, vendors from around the world, tasty food and drinks, and all the colorful weirdness that San Francisco is famous for. All ages are welcome, and costumes are highly encouraged.
Journey to the "Mythical Realms" of Howard Street and celebrate peace, creativity, and the start of the summer season!
The music stages are produced by local collectives and music organizations, including Symbiosis, Muti Music, Rebel Bass Collective, Groove Garden, Hookahdome, Afrolicious, Non Stop Bhangra, Tantra, Temple Nightclub, Opel, Opulent Temple, Ultraviolet Carnival, Aum Festival, Red Marines, SF House, Pink Mammoth, SWAG, and more.

Dancing knows no boundaries or political affiliation. Music, more than any other form of communication, is able to transcend differences between people. It is through music and art that peace is always possible.
The main entrance is at Howard and New Montgomery Streets, where you’ll find complimentary bike parking. It is only two blocks from the Montgomery BART station on Market Street, and near many MUNI lines, the Transbay Terminal, and Caltrain Station.
There is a requested donation of $10 for the How Weird Street Faire. The full donation buys a Magic Sticker that is potentially worth many times that amount, with discounts at the faire bars and after parties, as well as specials at many of the vendors.
The fun doesn’t stop when the faire ends, it just moves indoors to three very nice locations right at the faire site: Temple Nightclub, 111 Minna Gallery, and Harlot. Get a ticket at any location for only $10 (or $2 off with the Magic Sticker) good for all three venues. There will be ins and outs at all three clubs throughout the evening. The after parties are 21 + over with ID. Magic Stickers are only available at the gates during the faire. |

The Do LaB 's reality-expanding 6th annual Lightning in a Bottle Festival.
Building on the success of last year’s event which drew over 7,000 attendees, the four day, three night festival will once again be held on 100 sprawling acres of hills, trees and reservoirs at beautiful Oak Canyon Ranch, located just one hour south of Los Angeles and 45 minutes north of San Diego.

Lightning in a Bottle, which has been described in the press as an enlightened cross between
Coachella and Burning Man, was recently named a recipient of the prestigious European Festival Awards’ Outstanding
        Greener Festival Award.

Lightning in a Bottle , the one-part electro-tastic, one-part environmentally friendly California music festival, returns for its sixth incarnation May 27-30 on the 100 sprawling acres of hills, trees and reservoirs at Silverado’s Oak Canyon Ranch. Presented by The Do LaB , the festival will look to build on the success of last year’s event — which drew over 7,000 attendees — with a 2011 bill topped by Pretty Lights and a Thievery Corporation DJ set. Other confirmed heavyweights include Lucent Dossier Experience, Bonobo (DJ Set), Beats Antique, Claude VonStroke, MiM0SA, Nick Warren, Random Rab and the Infinidroid, Eskmo, PANTyRAiD, Baths, Fools Gold, Emancipator, Lee Burridge, Y La Bamba and many others.

In addition to the music, this year’s Lightning in a Bottle will also feature green living workshops, providing easy, Do-It-Yourself lessons on creating a healthy, low-cost, sustainable lifestyle, organic food vendors, and yoga and dance classes taught by industry leaders. Plus, there will be large scale art installations, children’s activities, live performance troupes and Lightning in a Paintcan, where local artists transform over- sized mural panels into paintings which are then sold in a silent auction with the proceeds benefiting The Do LaB’s brand new non-profit organization, DoArt Foundation. The Foundation is a social enterprise dedicated to developing artist-audience relationships throughout local and international communities.
One-day, two-day, and three-day passes are now available and can be purchased via the festival’s website .
