After eight years of building PLACE for Sustainable Living with only a month-to-month
lease, PLACE has officially secured a multi-year lease through 2021.
We are eager to invest in significant renovations to further root down and improve the safety and accessibility of the space. We want to expand the ways we serve the community, with more diverse workshops and events, new place-making projects, and a space that welcomes youth, seniors, and people with mixed-abilities.
But all this requires some key infrastructural upgrades: building a multi-stall bathroom that’s in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), installing a wheelchair lift to bring all people to our main event space, and setting up a radiant-heating system that will allow for programming in the main space throughout the winter.
We anticipate spending $17,000 on a wheelchair accessible bathroom so we can host mixed ability members of the community.
So far, we have raised hit theirmark but are contuniunung tto reach our to to reach more people.
Please make a contribution here and invite friends to contribute and share this fundraiser to your friends.

Her GoFundMe (see below for that)
[Recommended for 3-12 yrs. of age]
This touching ancient story takes us to the forest of the Rainbird and the people of the nearby village. Following a young girl named Ketti in her meeting with the magical bird - she confronts and overcomes a challenge and helps bring balance once again.
It reminds us of the importance of our connection to Nature and our role in supporting life.
Each of our children's puppet shows is designed to be interactive for the children and includes simple sing-alongs!
On this more personal health note... Rosanna is a dear and brilliant friend of twenty years.
Four years ago she was diagnosed with Stage 4 breast cancer!
Several of her friends including myself have launched a GoFundMe for her medical expenses.
Four years after diagnosis, she is hanging strong and actively lending knowledgable support to others similarly diagnosed. Rosanna is not out of the woods though.
Please follow the link to learn the whole STORY, and hopefully when you do, you will decide to JOIN our campaign and lend some much needed assistance to our beautiful and precious friend, and SHARE her story with your friends.
