Higher Vision Presents announces a one-day “Community Activation and Awareness Gathering” at the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds on Saturday June 9, 2012.  Featured musical acts include reggae legend and world-superstar Burning Spear, 2012 Grammy Award winning North African band Tinariwen, internationally known sound wizard and dub producer Gaudi, jazz-funk favorites The Motet, and more attractions to be announced.
 
Also included will be sustainable and progressive clothing and crafts, gourmet and organic food of all styles, world-renowned speakers, and environmental awareness education.  “We plan to put a focus on businesses and non-profit organizations that serve the community, both locally and in the world, with so many amazing services and talented people,” says promoter Erik Morse.  “We’ll also be having a lot of fun dancing to world-class music on the sunny great lawn, of course.”
 
Gates will open at 11am and the event runs until 1am.  
Indoor stages will feature late-night bands and artists.
