The Adventure Continues

A celebration of art, music, performance, yoga, sustainability and life, Lightning in a Bottle is a unique experience beyond any ordinary music festival. From its world class fusion of electronic music, to its performance art and spiritual workshops, LIB's overarching embodiment of cultural and environmental consciousness is an event where attendees from all walks of life can find a way to connect with others as well as themselves.

Happening over Memorial Day Weekend in Central California, the electronically eclectic lineup includes Moby, Phantogram, Little Dragon, Beats Antique, Gramatik, Chet Faker, Baauer, & Cashmere Cat.

Art is just as big a part of LIB as the music, and it's heavy influence can be seen throughout the festival through dazzling art installations and mind mending structures.

Additionally, LIB is home to Lightning in a Paintcan, the US's largest live painting event. Over the course of the weekend, the 50 participating artists work on a single piece, concluding the festival with an art walk and auction where their work is centrally put on display.

Three-time winner of the "Outstanding Greener Festival" award, Lightning in a Bottle strives to educate and improve society with its environmental initiatives and workshops.

The event provides free filtered water for reusable containers, runs mostly on biodiesel and solar power, and even performs its own annual green energy audit to ensure that LIB conforms to a progressive standard.

Truly unique to LIB, The Temple of Consciousness is an area within the festival designed to serve as a sanctuary for all participants to energize and balance the mind and body.

All patrons have the opportunity to participate, learn, and evolve through the expansive list of yoga classes, workshops and speakers. The 2014 Temple lineup is LIB's biggest yet, set to expand your mind and send you off into the world a better, stronger person.

Camping is an inaugural part of the "LIB Experience" and half of the fun! The festival's home is conveniently located in between San Francisco and Los Angeles, at the Lake San Antonio Recreation Area in the beautiful Central Valley of California.

As California's Premier Campout Festival, the festival's creators encourage all attendees to come with an open mind, become part of the community, and make LIB their amazing home for the weekend!
